1.0 SUMMARY

1.1 Request for Quotation: Contractors with proven industry experience are invited to submit a quotation for demolition of the existing fountain in order to accommodate future installation of a replacement fountain for the Triangle Park located at the intersection of 18th Avenue and 10th Street in Menominee, MI.

1.2 The Request for Quotation (RFQ) does not constitute a contract for services performed or to be performed. Following the selection of the successful bidder, the City of Menominee (hereafter referred to as “City”), and the Contractor will negotiate a contract including a full scope of services. If there are any questions and/or to schedule a site visit, contact the City Engineer/ Director of Public Works at (906) 290-0298.

1.3 Services To Be Performed: The services will consist of providing all necessary labor, equipment and materials for the demolition and removal of the debris. The following is the scope of service and specifications:

Explosion proof leak detection shutdown

2- remote pumping stations with hose rack and power control buttons

2- 30’ suction hoses with quick connection fittings

2- isolation valves for suction hoses

Address all bids to the City Clerk, City Hall, 2511-10th Street, Menominee, MI 49858 with the name and address of the bidder distinctly indicated on the outside of the envelope. Also, clearly indicate that it contains a sealed bid for " MARINE SEWAGE PUMPOUT SYSTEM”.

Waste Water Treatment Plant Grit Classifier

1.0 SUMMARY

1.1 Request for Proposals: Professional contractors with proven experience and expertise in providing and installing grit classifiers are invited to submit proposals for the replacement of the City of Menominee Waste Water Treatment Plant’s grit classifier.

1.2 The Request for Proposal (RFP) does not constitute a contract for services performed or to be performed. Following the selection of the successful contractor, the City of Menominee (hereafter referred to as “City”), and the Contractor will negotiate a contract including a full scope of services. 1.3 Services To Be Performed: The Contractor’s services will consist of providing all labor, equipment and materials for the completion of this project. All materials and components shall be new and unused of first quality by well-known manufacturers. Inferior materials and components shall not be allowed. The contractor is responsible for removing and disposing of the existing equipment. In addition, they must supply and install the new equipment including electrical and SCADA. The contractor is responsible for maintaining as little of down time as possible. All costs associated with the temporary measures of operating the existing and/or new equipment are the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor shall connect to the existing inlet and outlet and is responsible for all materials to make the connection. The following is the scope of service and specifications:
